The intelligent chatbot for the tourism sector: case history

In the world of digital tourism, offering an immediate, personalized, and 24/7 accessible user experience has become a decisive competitive factor. In this context, our artificial intelligence case history was born, dedicated to one of our long-standing clients: Camping Baia Verde on Lake Garda.

A project that combines conversational AI, user experience, and process automation, with a clear goal: improving communication with users and transforming information requests into concrete booking opportunities.

The context: increasingly conversational users

In recent years, we have observed a profound change in online user behavior. More and more people prefer to ask a direct question rather than navigate through menus, pages, and subsections of a website.
In the hospitality sector, this is even more evident:
- quick requests regarding prices, availability, services
- repetitive questions about check-in, pets allowed, beach, restaurant
- need for immediate and reliable answers, often in a foreign language
Camping Baia Verde, a facility with a strong international vocation, faced exactly this need: ensuring precise, consistent, and always available answers without overloading the reception.

The solution: a tailor-made AI chatbot for tourism

We designed and developed an artificial intelligence chatbot integrated directly into the Camping Baia Verde website, conceived as a true virtual assistant for guests.
Not a generic chatbot, but a customized solution, trained on real data and built around the identity of the facility.

Main features of the AI chatbot
A. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
B. Active in all languages of the world
C. Integrated into the site navigation
D. Optimized for mobile and desktop
E. Designed to improve conversions and UX

Training with real reception responses

One of the key elements of the project was the training of the artificial intelligence using responses actually provided by the receptionists at Camping Baia Verde.
This approach made it possible to:
  •  maintain a human, welcoming, and consistent tone of voice
  • provide precise and updated information
  • respect the brand's communication style
  • avoid generic or impersonal answers
The result is a chatbot that speaks like a real person, knows the facility in detail, and manages to "pamper" the user, just as the reception staff would do.

A virtual assistant that improves the user experience

From a user experience perspective, the chatbot has radically changed the way users interact with the site.

Benefits for users
  1. Immediate answers without waiting
  2. Natural and intuitive communication
  3. No language barriers
  4. Feeling of being guided and heard
Benefits for the facility
  1.  Reduction of repetitive requests at reception
  2. Better management of seasonal peaks
  3. Higher quality of human contact, reserved for complex requests
  4. Increase in conversions from undecided users

Multilingual artificial intelligence: a fundamental plus

Camping Baia Verde welcomes guests from all over Europe and beyond. For this reason, the chatbot was designed as a multilingual virtual assistant, capable of responding fluidly and naturally in any language.

This means:
- eliminating language barriers
- offering a consistent service to all users
- improving the perception of professionalism and attention
- increasing the trust of potential international customers

A scalable and continuously evolving project

The chatbot is not a "closed" project, but a living system that can be updated with new information, improved with new FAQs, integrated with booking systems
and extended to other channels (WhatsApp, Messenger, etc.).
This flexibility makes artificial intelligence a long-term strategic tool, not just a simple technological trend.

AI becomes digital hospitality

The Camping Baia Verde case history demonstrates how artificial intelligence applied to tourism can transform into a true added value, both for users and for the facility.
A chatbot human in tone, precise in answers, always available, and perfectly integrated into the brand. In other words, a new way of providing hospitality, digital but deeply oriented toward the relationship.
