Why we don't have a price list at Glacom (and why we don't want one)

We deliberately work in reverse: we don't start with a price, we start with a conversation. Today, the Glacom project is tailor-made.

It happens often.
An email, a call, a message on LinkedIn:
“Can you send me your price list?”
And every time, the answer is the same:
"We don't have a precise, defined, static price list".
Not because we don't want to be transparent, quite the opposite.
Simply because it wouldn't make sense.

Every project is a different story

At Glacom, no two projects are the same.

It sounds like a cliché, but it isn't: it's our daily reality.
Some arrive with a structured idea, some with a vague vision, some with a problem to solve or a dream to realize.
And each of them starts from a different point, with different resources, different priorities and, above all, with a unique internal logic.
Take 3D configurators, for example, our core business. Behind that word lies a universe: there are companies that want a simple configuration experience, others that need to integrate complex calculations, 3D file optimizations, specific interfaces for the sales network or for e-commerce.
Some focus on aesthetic rendering and others on loading speed, some already have a management system to connect and others start from scratch.
How could we ever give a “standard” price to all of this?
It would be like saying that a house always costs the same, regardless of where it is located, how it is built, and who lives in it.

Even the most “standard” services are never truly so. It might seem different in digital marketing, where certain activities, such as a Google Ads campaign, give the impression of being more “pre-packaged”.
But in reality, even there, no two campaigns are the same.
Every time we start from a different situation:
- some have an account to optimize and some need a new one,
- some already have historical data and some still need to understand their target,
- some want to push direct sales and some brand awareness,
- some need a single ad group and some an ecosystem of integrated campaigns with tracking, feeds, and customized reporting.
And beyond the technical part, there is everything else: alignment calls, content creation, modifications during the process, constant monitoring.
Here too, the “price list” becomes a cage: it would force us to treat unique projects as if they were identical.

We work (intentionally) the other way around

Perhaps it's a provocation, but it's the truth:
at Glacom we work the other way around. We don't start with a price.
 We start with a conversation.
First, we listen to the companies.
We try to understand who they are, where they want to go, what goals they have, and what difficulties they face.
Only then do we build a tailor-made project, choosing the most suitable channels, technologies, and tools.
We never do the opposite, because it would be like giving a cure without first making a diagnosis.
And we want to be digital doctors, not simple service sellers.
Sometimes, after listening to a company, we advise against investing immediately.
Other times we propose moving the budget to more strategic, faster, or simply more consistent tools for the phase the client is in.
Because our goal is not to “sell something”, but to make something work.

The value of listening and a shared course

Not having a price list also means taking the time to get to know you.
To ask questions, to dig deeper, to understand.
Every company has nuances that are not visible at first glance: internal processes, expectations, fears, people.
And we want to dive into them, to understand how to truly support them, not just as a supplier, but as a partner.
We like to think that when we start a new project, we get on the same boat as the client.
And from that moment, we row together, in the same direction.
 The course remains shared.
And that course, for us, is worth much more than any price list.

In a world that rushes, that simplifies, that standardizes everything, we have chosen to remain digital artisans.
To not sell packages, but to build paths.
To not start from the price, but from the value.

And if someone still asks us:
“So, how much does a Glacom project cost?”
The answer remains the same, simple and sincere:
“It depends.
But first of all, tell us everything about your company.”
